Minimum income Promise Scheme by Congress

Rahul Gandhi announces in press conference that they will provide Rs.72000 per year to poorest family if their party wins the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2019.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has made an announcement to provide minimum Rs. 72000 to the poorest families. If their party comes in power, they will roll out Nyuntam Aay Yojana (NYAY). Low-income families will get a minimum monthly income under the scheme.

The scheme will cover five crore families and benefit nearly 25 crore people said the Congress president Rahul Gandhi. It is expected that 20% poorest families of India.

Rahul Gandhi added “Minimum income threshold is Rs. 12,000. Any family is earning less than this, the government will pay the difference,” So according to this scheme, if any family earns Rs. 8000 PM then the government will add Rs. 4000.

The scheme is a very powerful and dynamic idea; it will change the standard of living of poor people. “It is not acceptable to the Congress that there are poor people in the 21st century… The final assault on poverty is beginning,” he added.
